The nun thought the priest would tell her to pray harder. His response nearly made her forget why she came!

A nun entered the confessional and whispered, “Father, I think I’m distracting the congregation.”

The priest frowned. “Sister, what makes you say that?”

She leaned closer and murmured, “Every time I walk past the front pew, the men suddenly become very devoted.”

The priest sighed. “Sister… I’ve noticed.”

She asked nervously, “Then what should I do?”

The priest cleared his throat, leaned toward the screen, and whispered, “Well, Sister… perhaps you should stop wearing that new perfume—and let me know which pew they sit in!”

The nun gasped. “Father! I thought you were going to tell me to pray harder!”

“I was,” he replied. “But first, I need to know which pew requires the most prayer!”
