Three American wives were having coffee together when the conversation suddenly turned to their husbands.
The first wife sighed.
“Last weekend, my husband told me he was going fishing. But later, I checked his truck and found no fishing rods, no bait, and not a single fish.
He was definitely lying!”
The second wife rolled her eyes.
“That’s nothing. My husband told me he was going to a business conference. So I checked his suitcase…
And found swim trunks, sunscreen, and flip-flops.
He was lying too!”
The third wife suddenly burst out laughing.
The other two stared at her.
“Why are you laughing so hard?”
She wiped away a tear.
“Because my husband told me he was going fishing too…”
She paused dramatically.
“But I just found something even stranger in his suitcase.”
The other women leaned closer.
“What did you find?”
She reached into her purse and pulled out a small plastic bag.
Inside was a pair of women’s high-heeled shoes.
The first wife gasped.
The second wife covered her mouth.
“Whose are those?!”
The third wife smiled.
“I have no idea.”
Then she pulled out another item.
A tiny bottle of perfume.
Then another.
A silk scarf.
The other women stared at her.
“Your husband was definitely not going fishing!”
The third wife laughed even harder.
“Oh, I know!”
“Then why are you laughing?”
She shrugged.
“Because those things aren’t mine…”
The room went silent.
Then she added,
“They’re my husband’s.”
The other two wives stared at her in complete shock.
She took a sip of coffee and smiled.
“Apparently, he’s going fishing… but he’s also becoming a very fashionable fisherman.” 😂
