An 80-Year-Old Married a 25-Year-Old. The Next Morning, Everyone Wanted Answers

Arthur simply smiled, took a sip of his coffee, and leaned closer.

His friend waited.

The entire table seemed to lean in too.

Finally Arthur whispered:

“Of course I was worried about my heart.”

His friend nodded.

“Exactly! That’s what I’m saying!”

Arthur smiled.

“So I took my doctor’s advice.”

“What advice?”

Arthur took another sip of coffee.

“Whenever you feel chest pain, stop immediately.”

His friend blinked.

“Okay…”

Arthur shrugged.

“Turns out I didn’t have to stop once.”

The friend stared at him.

“That’s incredible!”

Arthur grinned.

“No…”

He pointed at his chest.

“The incredible part is that my heart survived hearing her ask, ‘So what do you want to do tonight, Grandpa?'”

The table burst out laughing.

His friend nearly spilled his coffee.

After a minute he managed to ask:

“So what happened after that?”

Arthur smiled.

“She tucked me into bed, kissed me on the forehead, and told me not to stay up too late.”

The friend looked confused.

“Then what?”

Arthur shrugged.

“Then she spent an hour teaching me how to use the hotel Wi-Fi.”

The friend laughed so hard he started coughing.

Finally he wiped tears from his eyes and said:

“Arthur, you’re telling me you spent your wedding night learning Wi-Fi passwords?”

Arthur nodded.

“Absolutely.”

Then he leaned in one last time and said:

“At my age, successfully connecting to the internet is a much bigger achievement than anything else.”

And that had the entire breakfast buffet laughing. 😄
