A nun and a priest were stranded in the middle of the desert after their camel suddenly died.
No water.
No shade.
No sign of help anywhere.
After hours of walking, the exhausted priest finally stopped.
“Sister, we may not make it out of this desert.”
The nun nodded.
“I fear you’re right.”
The priest sighed.
“Before we die, can I ask you something?”
The nun agreed.
The priest reached into his pocket and pulled out a small packet.
“Sister, I have one last request.”
“What is it?”
He held up a tiny seed.
“Plant this for me.”
The nun looked confused.
“A seed?”
“Yes.”
“Why?”
The priest smiled.
“Because if I put this in the right place, it can give life.”
The nun stared at him for a moment.
Then she smiled and said,
“Father, you don’t need to put it anywhere. Just give it water first.”
The priest looked at the empty canteen.
Then at the seed.
Then at the desert.
He sighed.
“I suppose that’s why you’re the practical one.”
The nun laughed.
“Exactly.”
And together they kept walking.
A few hours later, they spotted a rescue helicopter in the distance.
The priest looked at the nun.
“See? Miracles do happen.”
She smiled.
“Yes. But next time, let’s bring enough water for the miracle.” 😂🏜️
