Needless to say, that confrontation ended in an argument between us. Afterward, he begged and pleaded with me to stay. He insisted he would leave his wife and that we could still have the life we had always talked about. But it didn\u2019t feel right anymore. For the next few weeks, our conversations revolved around him begging and me pushing him away. Then, two weeks ago, he told me that he had filed for divorce because he didn\u2019t want to lose what we had. His words really got to me. His constant begging was starting to wear me down.<\/p>\n

Last week, I found out I was pregnant with his child. Shortly after that, his wife called me and demanded a meeting. I was hesitant, but she made me an offer I couldn\u2019t refuse, so I agreed to meet her for coffee.<\/p>\n

During our meeting, she told me not to trust him. According to her, he always acted like she was \u201cthe best woman on the planet,\u201d but he cheated every chance he got. It was a warning I took seriously\u2014but it wasn\u2019t the only thing she said. She also asked if I would be willing to let her kids meet the baby.<\/p>\n

She explained that since the baby carried their father\u2019s blood, they had a right to know it and to be part of its life. I have no idea how she found out I was pregnant, but at this point, too much has been happening for me to even question it.<\/p>\n
