A priest and a nun were caught in the middle of a terrible blizzard.<\/p>\n
With the snow getting heavier by the minute, they spotted a deserted cabin and hurried inside.<\/p>\n
Luckily, it was warm enough to survive the night.<\/p>\n
Inside, they found a bed, a sleeping bag, and a pile of thick blankets.<\/p>\n
Being a gentleman, the priest offered the bed to the nun while he took the sleeping bag.<\/p>\n
They settled down for the night.<\/p>\n
A few minutes later, the nun called out,<\/p>\n
\u201cFather\u2026 Father, I’m cold!\u201d<\/p>\n
The priest sighed, reached for another blanket, and said,<\/p>\n
\u201cSister, there are plenty of blankets right beside you.\u201d<\/p>\n
She pulled one over herself.<\/p>\n
A few minutes passed.<\/p>\n
Then:<\/p>\n
\u201cFather\u2026 I’m still cold!\u201d<\/p>\n
The priest hesitated.<\/p>\n
Finally, he said,<\/p>\n
\u201cSister\u2026 perhaps we should pretend we’re married.\u201d<\/p>\n
The nun suddenly went quiet.<\/p>\n
Then she replied,<\/p>\n
\u201cThat sounds like a wonderful idea.\u201d<\/p>\n
The priest smiled, thinking he’d finally solved the problem.<\/p>\n
There was a long silence.<\/p>\n
Then the nun said,<\/p>\n
